Cumberland Clear recently learned that the January 2026 meeting of the Task Force has been sped up and will instead be held on December 8th. Our legislators need to hear our voice. We will have representatives of Cumberland Clear at this meeting.

“The Tennessee Solid Waste Task Force is established to develop a comprehensive, forward looking strategy for managing solid waste in the state through 2050. The task force will evaluate the current waste management system, identify long-term challenges and opportunities, and recommend innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions that protect public health, preserve natural resources, and strengthen Tennessee’s economy.”
