Cumberland Clear recently learned that the January 2026 of the Task Force has been sped up and will instead be held on December 8th. We want a presence at this meeting. Our legislators need to hear our voice. More information to come on how we can best establish a presence at this meeting.

“The Tennessee Solid Waste Task Force is established to develop a comprehensive, forward looking strategy for managing solid waste in the state through 2050. The task force will evaluate the current waste management system, identify long-term challenges and opportunities, and recommend innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions that protect public health, preserve natural resources, and strengthen Tennessee’s economy.”
