We need YOUR voice! This is a second attempt meeting as the previous Solid Waste Board meeting had no quorum to vote.

If your schedule allows, please be there to show our Solid Waste Board how IMPORTANT it is to the citizens of Scott County that they sign the original waste plan addendum letter to TDEC proposed by Jerry Dodson, chairman, stating WE DO NOT HAVE NEED FOR AN ADDITIONAL LANDFILL! Our current Volunteer Regional Landfill has 24 years left at a minimum and there is absolutely no need for a second one, even larger, to be built adjacent to our current one. Scott County’s waste needs are being taken care of now and for long into the future.

Tell the Solid Waste Board they must communicate NO NEED FOR A NEW LANDFILL to TDEC!
