At some point in September, it is believed that the planners of the proposed landfill will be filing for their Aquatic Resource Alteration Permit (ARAP). The process for approving the plan to alter the course of springs and creeks in the middle of the proposed landfill site has to be announced and has to include an opportunity for the public to comment. As more information about this is made known, residents are encouraged to stay tuned and be prepared to attend such public hearings.
